This journey is unforgettable. It takes you deep into the wilderness of Northern Mongolia. There, you will meet the Tsaatan reindeer herders. You will also explore some of the country’s most spectacular natural landscapes. Travel from Mongolia’s historic monasteries to the pristine forests of the Taiga. Ride horses into remote mountain valleys. Experience the nomadic lifestyle of the reindeer people.

The journey continues through volcanic landscapes, crystal-clear lakes and the historic heartland of the Mongol Empire.

Day 1 – Arrival in Ulaanbaatar (Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.)

Day 2 – Ulaanbaatar → Amarbayasgalant Monastery (Drive north across the Mongolian steppe to Amarbayasgalant Monastery, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia, built in the 18th century.)

Day 3 – Amarbayasgalant → Murun (Continue north toward Murun, the capital of Khuvsgul Province. Enjoy scenic countryside landscapes with nomadic herder camps along the way.)

Day 4 – Murun → Khatgal (Drive to Khatgal, located on the southern shore of Lake Khuvsgul, often called the “Blue Pearl of Mongolia.)

Day 5 – Khatgal → Tsagaan Nuur (Travel deeper into northern Mongolia to Tsagaan Nuur, the gateway to Mongolia’s remote Taiga region.)

Day 6–8 – Horse Trekking to Baruun Taiga (3 Days) Begin an unforgettable horse trekking journey into the Baruun Taiga. Meeting the Tsaatan (reindeer herders)

Day 9 – Tsagaan Nuur → Murun (Return by vehicle to Murun after the Taiga trekking experience.)

Day 10 – Murun → Zuun Lake (Drive toward the scenic Zuun Lake area.Enjoy peaceful natural landscapes and a quiet evening in nature.)

Day 11 – Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake(Travel to Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, located in the volcanic region of Central Mongolia.Hike to Khorgo Volcano and explore volcanic lava fields.Overnight near the lake.)

Day 12 – Kharkhorin → Tuvkhun Monastery → Orkhon Waterfall (Visit Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. Explore Erdene Zuu Monastery, the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia.

Continue to Tuvkhun Monastery, located on a mountain summit with stunning panoramic views. Then visit Orkhon Waterfall, one of Mongolia’s most beautiful waterfalls. Overnight in the scenic Orkhon Valley region.

Day 13 – Khustain National Park → Ulaanbaatar(Drive to Khustain Nuruu National Park, home to the rare Przewalski’s wild horses (Takhi. Observe these unique horses in their natural habitat before continuing to Overnight in Ulaanbaatar.)

Day 14 – Departure (After breakfast, transfer to Chinggis Khaan International Airport for your international departure.)
